This stone bridge was originally made and used in it's largest form. It's a gorgeous bridge and when you link many together to cross large distances it presents a very dramatic and grand display. Unfortunately there were very few people who felt comfortable with this size. We have resized it into 4 lovely sizes, the original grand size, a large road size, a smaller lane size for paths, and a sweet diminutive ornamental size. Our picture shows it with an avatar on one bridge for scale.
You get the whole set including the original cobblestone texture on the roadway made from a picture of an actual cobbled New Jersey street. This cobblestone has been used extensively in Subrosa and the larger bridge fits neatly onto one terrain cell and lines up seamlessly to the cobblestone texture used as a terrain picture. Line up the edge of the arch with the edge of the cell at one end and when you get to the other end, the causeway will line up perfectly with the same terrain texture there. The pillar and end poles have been created with their axis in exactly the same place as the bridge so that you can duplicate the bridge, change it's name to the pillar or posts, and these will be lined up perfectly. The pillar includes a flat road top to level across from arch to arch when linking several bridges together to span larger distances. When built properly all seams vanish and there is no zbuffering.
There are 2 types of posts, one for the end of the span, and one for the joins. In all you get 4 pieces for each set, bridge span, pillar and join, and two types of end posts. With all four sets you get 3 textures and 16 pieces.
This set has been optimized for minimum file size and faster loading and less lag.
When we can we have chosen to use standard AW textures for things to reduce your download requirements in your world and to reduce the size of your OP storage. In the event that a texture is overwriting the texture on your path, you are responsible for checking that it is the same as the one it is overwriting in image as well as name. We try to not name textures the same as those on the AW megapath if they are not the same as those textures.
