This world is a vision being built without any clear beforehand image, but a feeling and theme from within. It's a romanticized retreat. Beautiful views and cozy homes. It's wet and soft and a little warm but not so much it's muggy. The climate ranges from tropical at the beach to arctic/alpine on the top of the mountain.
GZ is a large town square with shops and fountains, a pub and a cafe. We have a city hall and a post office on the east and south east. There's a bellhouse between the post office and the docks and you can go in and ring the bell. The post office houses messages to visitors and also a few warps to help you get around. The real fun is exploring down paths and around in trees. We're trying to make something beautiful or amusing around every turn.
If one walks around the lake just north to the base of the mountain, the Gates of Moriah await. Click to enter the tunnel.

A hut on fire a bit East has a hearse waiting by to ferry the dead. Further up the road you'll see Scribe's Hall, a massive library with living quarters for students and scribes. Further along to East point road you can walk past butterflies and flowers to a magical tower end of East Point Road.
Linking from East Point to West point is The Causeway, a great old stone elevated road that strides across the beach over the docks and amusement park. Above West point is another Beautiful tower and the road then runs north to the art gallery. From there one can go back down to seaside or up eastward to milltown.
If one travels up the western ridge and along the northern shoulder of the mountain one will reach the heights above the lake and Milltown. Walk South along mill road to the mill stream and you may meet a frisky bunny! Walk further South and take the footpath along the base of the cliff, at the eastern ridge is a slope leading north to the next level of the mountain, above the grass line. Up on the shoulder of the mountain there is a monastery with a buddhist shrine you may visit. Walk on the carpet to hear the monks chant. Through the monastery and out the back door leads to a bell house like the one at GZ and then you can continue past it to the slope up to santa's workshop.
If you fly to the south west corner of the world there is a tall finger of rock called Witches Peak. A small hut and a cornfield inhabit it and it is surrounded by lightning.

Some of the pretty views have been photographed, you can click here to open a new window displaying a selection of these.

Many of the objects in here are custom objects, some are altered from standard AW objects or textures, some are from or altered from or adapted to public domain objects. Some others yet are custom built objects for sale. Click here to go to our object download page to access our custom objects. We are now giving them all away free!

Bot Information

Subrosa has been opened up as a bot login world as an experiment in chat and activity. Thus it is an open bot world and you are welcome to add to it. In AW I have a series of birdbot birds from Imabots making a lovely flock over the docks. Feel free to slip your bot into avatar 15 and have him follow bird1 bird2 or bird3 to add to our flock.
All chat is heard and logged because of these bots so keep in mind it's not a place for gossip.
With bots randomly wandering around chatting across the hills with each other the world would be interestingly populated when you were logged in and walking around. Furthermore, far more people can chat in a group via their bots than could visit the world at any one time.

People are free to log in bots with their own rights.

You may leave bots in this world for long periods of time to keep in touch with friends or for amusement. Please restrict your offensiveness. Let's just play.

World Rules

Rule #1
You must obey Rule #2
Rule #2
There are no rules

Of course that doesn't mean I wouldn't eject you if you're getting on my nerves. Same for one of the other few people with eject rights. We can eject just because we feel like it.
